1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the Unswamp mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What Unswamp Is (and Isn't)

Unswamp is a productivity and focus-planning tool designed to be friendly to people who experience task paralysis, including adults with ADHD.

Unswamp is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, including ADHD. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare provider.

3. Your Account

An anonymous account is created automatically when you first use the App. You may optionally link it to a Google account. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age in your country) to use the App.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • The App offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription ("Premium") with additional features.
  • Subscriptions may include a free trial. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and the applicable fee is charged.
  • All payments are processed by Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Google Play subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region. Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the App for any unlawful purpose;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the App or its AI services;
  • attempt to bypass usage limits or access another user's data;
  • resell or redistribute the App or its output as your own service.

6. AI-Generated Content

Task breakdowns are generated by artificial intelligence and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. They are suggestions, not instructions. You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, branding, and content (excluding your own data) are owned by Unswamp and protected by applicable laws. Your brain dumps, tasks, and other content you create remain yours; you grant us only the license needed to operate the service for you.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon deletion, your data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unswamp shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
