How to delete your account

You can permanently delete your Unswamp account and all associated data in two ways:

1. In the app (recommended): open Unswamp and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Confirm the deletion — that's it.
2. By email: if you can no longer access the app, email support@unswamp.app with the subject "Delete my account". If your account is linked to Google, send the request from that Google email address so we can verify it's you.

What gets deleted

Deletion permanently removes all data associated with your account, including:

• your account and profile (including a linked Google identity, if any),
• all brain dump transcripts,
• all tasks, steps, and completion history,
• notification preferences and settings.

Note: voice audio is never stored in the first place — speech recognition runs on your device and only text is saved.

What may be retained

Anonymized analytics and crash data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained. Records of purchases are kept by Google Play according to its own policies; cancelling a subscription is done in your Google Play subscription settings and is separate from account deletion.

Timing

In-app deletion takes effect immediately; residual copies in backups are purged within 30 days. Email requests are processed within 30 days of identity verification.
